LIEN PHAM

Lien Pham was born in Hanoi and, after completing her studies in Vietnam, moved to Paris at the age of 26, settling in Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

Already deeply captivated by fashion and design, she began studying at the Fleuri Delaporte School of Fashion Styling (école de stylisme de mode Fleuri Delaporte). From there, she embarked on a long journey as a fashion designer. Throughout this journey, she gained recognition not only in Paris but also from various international fashion brands, presenting numerous well-received collections and even launching her own brand.

Deciding to transition into the field of fine arts, Lien completed a painting course at Atelier 34 in Versailles in 2021. With her already outstanding painting skills, she was able to quickly adapt to and master various painting techniques.

Since the public introduction of her first artwork in 2022, she has held four successful solo exhibitions. Some private institutions and professional collectors in France and Vietnam have acquired her works. Boa Gallery, located on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, fervently supports her, believing that the passion and success she achieved in fashion will be equally realized in the art world.

Following an invitational exhibition at Paris City Hall this March, Art Salon de Assis Gallery has invited Lien Pham to introduce her to audiences in Seoul, supporting her long journey as an artist.

자연과 내면을 향한 찬가 전시

Souls of Silence에서 Lien Pham은 자연과 본질에 대한 깊은 성찰을 주제로 구상과 추상의 이중성을 섬세하게 탐구하며, 섬세한 기하학적 구성, 강렬한 색의 대비, 자신만의 독창적인 예술적 기법 (고전적인 기법과 아크릴, 먹물, 자수, 천, 면사, 금박 및 은박과 같은 대담한 소재를 혼합)을 캔버스에서 표현하고 있다. 이는 때때로 우주와 자연을 연상시키는 신기루 같은 효과를 만들어낸다.선과 면을 통한 조형적 요소와 기하학적 요소는 산과 바다를 연상시키는 좀더 유기적인 영감을 불러일으킨다. 면사와 천과 같은 다양한 소재가 캔버스에 촉각적이고 시적인 차원을 더해 명상적인 여행으로 관람객을 초대한다.리엔 팜의 작품은 덧없음과 영원성이 교차하는 대화의 장이다. 전통 아시아 수묵화의 섬세함, 공간을 조각하는 듯한 필치가 현대 추상의 자유로운 표현과 결합하여 무한한 해석의 여지를 만들어낸다.

빛과 그림자 사이에서 흔들리는 그녀의 구도는 뿌리에 대한 애착과 새로운 지평을 향한 비상의 이중성을 고스란히 드러낸다.

그녀의 추상 속에는 이야기가 스며 있다. 각 작품은 시간의 흔적을 간직한 채 멈춰진 서사로, 과거의 조각과 의미를 담은 재료들이 교차한다. 실이나 나무 조각과 같은 요소는 그녀의 첫 번째 예술적 삶의 여정이었던 패션과 직물의 세계를 반영하며, 작품에는 촉각적이고 감성적인 차원을 더한다.

암시적인 구상과 구조적인 추상의 경계에서 리엔 팜은 우리를 관조의 순간으로 초대한다. 그녀의 캔버스는 기억과 상상의 다리가 되어, 감상하는 이들이 저마다 공명을 담아낼 수 있는 열린 공간으로 작용한다.
